Comedy of Errors was a challenge to put on largely due to the nature of this show and its needs. Since I was contracted to mix Ring of Fire during tech for Comedy of Errors, I had to design and prepare everything ahead of time for my intern to mix the show live. Later in the show's run I took over the mixing.
The director's vision for this show made it a contemporary musical version of Shakespeare's play. With a lack of resources, the plan for equipment needed to change within a few days ahead of tech. Using equipment donated by Will Karls, this allowed other shows throughout the season to use more equipment than otherwise available. 
Comedy of Errors ran from the end of Ring of Fire, through the runs of You Can't Take it With You, Bridges of Madison County, and a bit of Anastasia's tech week. Equipment allocation was very important, and it had to be set up and struck every night.

One production ended up shifting indoors instead of being cancelled. This required moving all major equipment, and setting up everything again in a different sound system. At the same time, I couldn't tear down anything set up for Bridges of Madison County's run. Mixing this version of the same show was a challenge because I had no sight line to a lot of actor entrances. 

This was my first outdoor show, and I used a Depusheng DT8 to mix this show.
